Could you get rid of wasted render spending?

Recently I had the opportunity to be a guest on the ILM podcast to talk about all things personal finance for developers.

I mention that non-value-add spending is like "wasted renders" in React – they aren't doing anything for you. Wasted render spending is an easy first step to take for getting control back of your money – you aren't making any lifestyle changes, it's literally money that's being thrown away.
